MISSION DIRECT

Mission Direct is the name given to the charitable giving of the Society of the Holy Cross. It is a small charity which fosters workin Catholic parishes throughout the Church of England. All Saints has been the beneficiary of funds from the Charity in the past enabling the Youth Group to go to the Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage.

In addition the Charity makes grants to ordinands in training, when money can be especially tight and has also enabled various "Fan the Flame" Missions to take place in parishes around the country.

 

 

 

 

Children and young people are shaped by the communities they live in, and by the people who surround them. Their prospects can become bleak when these influences let them down. The Children's Society concentrates its resources on tackling the root causes of the problems these children and young people face

 

 

 

Christian Aid works in over 60 countries helping people, regardless of religion or race, to improve their own lives and tackle the causes of poverty and injustice.
